[Green has skipped out on training, over the past few days, keeping himself busy with taking notes and giving his Pokémon a break.

He will, however, be bugging his fellow Pokémon trainers, both the ones new to Pokémon and the ones from Pokémon worlds, with exception to Masaomi. He's got quite a few people he needs to talk to. He'll find them wherever they may usually be spending their day, unless they're not seeing anyone.]

I don't like to be vague and ask pointless questions, but for what reason do people gather strength in your world?

I've had a poor conversation and need to have a better grasp of overall context.

I... I see. It's still difficult for me to grasp. You were there when I saw that battle I saw. [They might have been sitting close enough that it could be possible to observe how glazed over Aang had looked during the massive electric attack, being comforted by Katara.] I know that it was competitive and they were friends - they're good people, really, but... it still violent enough that it's hard to get out of my head. It's been tough to deal with, but I've had to face it. Especially for my granddaughter. But... People with Pokedeckeses, they really are that special?

You do? I think the difference is easy to think of. That you won't do that. You wouldn't use your power on the defenseless. And that you know to ask that question... I think that's a good sign, too.

I know that I won't do it. But when I see someone who has that drive, where they could easily become the person I'm not, it's hard whether or not I should treat them as dangerous.

But it makes sense that you don't know how to handle Pokémon. It's a part of our world, and battling has been how things were expressed for all time. Pokémon battle for many reasons, and it is not always violence. I think we understand the line between aggression and competition better than most, because of it.

You should definitely be careful. But you shouldn't jump to conclusions. [Now he's reminded of Roku was about Sozin... and how Zuko tried to get him to keep him from becoming like his father.]

I see. I hope I can understand it better in the future. I want to. After all, my granddaughter's wound up taking care of one.

What's her name?

Y-yeah. Her name's Ikki. She got a Pokemon that belonged to a boy named Chien after he left. It's a... I think it's called a Swellow, and his name is Soren.

I was wondering where Soren went. I'm glad someone is taking care of him.

Who's training Ikki?

Even with the things I don't understand yet about Pokemon, I'm definitely glad that the Pokemon has someone to look out for him. She's very nice and patient with him.

She's been learning from a friend of ours who knows the other Pokemon trainers and has his own Pikachu - Masaomi. He gives her lots of little lessons when he's not on missions and stuff!

[There is a distinct and audible slap sound as Green smacks his forehead.]

I'm currently retraining Masaomi.

How old is Ikki? Or, what sort of training style does she currently have? Maybe she'll like Blue or Yellow--

Oh - y-you're retraining him? [He didn't know that was a thing. He didn't really consider that Masaomi did or would have needed to be trained himself to be a trainer in the first place.] Well... Ikki's seven right now. And from the lessons I've watched, Masaomi sets up situations in the Battle Dome, and Ikki's got to work with Soren to solve them. Like one time I watched them herd Pokemon into a greenhouse! They didn't do the best and gotta learn to work together better, but I'm still proud of her.

...Yellow would? I talked to her when she was selling lemonade with Gold, but I didn't know she had Pokemon.

Then Yellow would be a very good teacher for her. She's from my world, and she's been able to pull her weight. She's more reliable than most people are.

She'll take good care of Ikki, and if anyone can teach a child to love Pokémon, it's her.

[Aang feels that might not be too hard, with the way Ikki seems to have a default unconditional love for all living beings, but this still gives him a very good feeling.]

Wow, really? That sounds great! I'll just have to talk to her in person sometime soon. And I should clear things up with the others, too.

Well Ikki should decide who she'd want to learn from! One of us should tell Masaomi, soon. And... I'd like to be able to tell Katara. We make lots of decisions for Ikki together, so she should know. [A frown.] Except that she's kind of... not herself right now.

Right. I'll talk to Masaomi, when I next train with him.

...This Katara, you mean? I'd say to at least have Ikki and Yellow meet, and maybe Katara should meet Yellow as well. There shouldn't be any objection.

[Yellow's so gentle and sweet-natured, Green can't imagine anyone disapproving of her for something like the task in question.]

Y-yeah, Katara's different right now. Hopefully not for much longer. I don't think she'll have any problems either, I just wanna make sure everyone knows what's going now. But meeting up with Yellow sounds good for now. And I'll keep in touch.
