[Green has skipped out on training, over the past few days, keeping himself busy with taking notes and giving his Pokémon a break.

He will, however, be bugging his fellow Pokémon trainers, both the ones new to Pokémon and the ones from Pokémon worlds, with exception to Masaomi. He's got quite a few people he needs to talk to. He'll find them wherever they may usually be spending their day, unless they're not seeing anyone.]

I don't like to be vague and ask pointless questions, but for what reason do people gather strength in your world?

I've had a poor conversation and need to have a better grasp of overall context.

So in the context of where you're from, strength in friendship and protecting others is what is most valued. It's not quite the same from where I am, but it still makes sense.

Huh, so how does it usually work in your world?

Being strong has a lot of different connotations. Perseverance in the face of danger is usually how it manifests. In other cases, growing strong is a mere side effect of going on your journey with Pokémon.

Oh, I can get behind that! Even when things get tough, it's important to stay strong and keep at it. If my friends and I gave up whenever the Unversed showed up, then we never would've been able to save all the worlds we visited.

But I think it makes sense to grow strong with your Pokémon. I might not know much about 'em, but it's like with any other bond. The more time you spend with someone, the stronger it grows.

It's important to always be at your Pokémon's side, and to be able to guide them. They give you power, but you must give them control and guidance. It's up to the human to provide the motivation and the goal. That is what dictates how Pokémon act, above all else.

So it's up to you guys to make sure they put their power to good use? Sounds kinda like a Master and apprentice...

It can be something like that. For some, their Pokémon are their family. Others, their friends. Others still, their partners. However you look at that relationship, however, it is undoubtedly a tight-knit bond a trainer needs to have with their Pokémon in order to grow strong with them.

Hmm... So are there people in your world who just don't understand those bonds? It seems like no matter where you go, there'll always be at least one person who doesn't understand, who'd use that kinda power for all the wrong reasons.

There are people in my world that use them simply as tools to gain power. And I hold no respect for someone who can't give me a better reason for raising Pokémon than to get powerful.

Hey, I'd feel the same way. It's one thing to try and learn magic or use a weapon to become stronger, but Pokémon aren't just objects! They're living creatures with thoughts and feelings that oughta be respected.
